Here’s a video of the Pure Painters and Wyland at work on the Vancouver 2010 restoration of Wyland Whaling Wall #56, just north of Vancouver’s Granville Street Bridge.

We're More Than Just Painting
Pure Painters is always looking for ways to help out your local community through charitable donations, outreach programs or environmental efforts. Look for our eco-friendly painters in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and other Lower Mainland communities today!
We're always looking for feedback from you, and this page is fully interactive! Feel free to post an idea about how we can help out, ask a question, voice a concern or leave us a pat on the back (we especially like those!).
I just finished the Wyland mural. It was a wild ride and I had allot of fun ,but I’m glad its over. I need to rest. Take a look.
World Famous Artist and Conservationist Wyland and Pure Painters worked in concert to restore a famous Vancouver Landmark.
Pure Painters wants to give back 3% of our earnings to our community and charitable organizations. We need your help! Let us know in the comments where you think those funds should go.
chilyn asked: I heard you guys are doing a refresh of the Wyland Mural in Vancouver (and I read it on your community page...). I can't wait to see it redone! What's the eta on completion?
Yep! And we’re excited about it too. The big announcement is tonight and the eta is closer than you might think! It needs to be done before the Olympics kick off… :D
At the heart of Pure Painters residential and commercial painting company, is our commitment to environmentally friendly and sustainable painting practices and community building. So when the Wyland Vancouver Mural Restoration group contacted us to be part of the collaborative team effort to restore Vancouver’s most celebrated marine mural we were ecstatic to say the least.

The Wyland Foundation, created by artist and marine conservation advocate Wyland, is respected around the world for inspiring art, nature and community. The restoration of Vancouver’s classic mural will ensure this celebrated piece of urban art is ready for the world to see in 2010. We will stimulate interest in marine conservation and display the wonders of our natural beauty, art and marine life found on the Canadian West Coast. Visit the Wyland Foundation’s website for more on their exciting projects and causes. Visit us on Facebook and Twitter to follow our journey through this historic painting project.
When Crossroads Hospice Society, a local organization committed to providing comfort and care to those living with terminal illness and their families, hired Pure Painters for a painting job, we saw an opportunity to go above and beyond. Rather than hand over a bill for the estimated cost we had arranged upon, we provided an invoice for $0.00.
As painting contractors we had the chance to donate our time and services to help this wonderful organization save money that they could then spend elsewhere. We took price in creating a cheerful atmosphere for those using the Crossroads Hospice Society along with improving their air quality with eco-friendly paints.
Linda Kozina, Hospice Manager writes:
Dillon, thank you for your gift of painting our family room and bereavement services office. It was an unexpected pleasure to be given an estimate, schedule the painting time and receive an invoice for $0.00. From Crossroads Inlet Centre Hospice - many thanks to Pure Painters for your thoughtful support.
Crossroads Hospice Society offers “compassionate support to those affected by the end of the life experience while honouring their dignity.”
